Newell Brands Social Media

It's not every day a consumer goods company with 40+ brands transforms into a giant company with 150+ brands. But that’s exactly what happen when Newell Rubbermaid merged with Jarden Corporation.

Such a transformation called for a fresh new name, company narrative, brand strategy and visual language. Establishing a consistent look and feel through all digital platforms was critical for the newly named company, Newell Brands. The platforms allowed the company to rapidly share its new identity as well as cross promote all brands under its robust portfolio.

Sharing a completely overhauled identity is no small order. In addition to developing a new digital library and editorial process for creating and optimizing digital content, the digital communications team established a set of style guidelines and best practices for sharing original photos, videos and user-generated content on the company’s social media platforms, as well as its Intranet and new employee-wide mobile app.
